Ashok Khade's dad was a shoemaker. He worked under a tree in the clamouring city of Mumbai.
Ashok was conceived in a town called Ped in Maharashtra's Sangli locale. One of six kids in the family, Ashok needed to frequently sleep without a dinner. Originating from the Dalit community of Chamars, their conventional activity was to skin dead creatures.
His mom needed to fill in as a rural worker in the lands of proprietors to earn for family. From social ostracization to absence of chances, his family confronted segregation consistently.
Overcoming all chances, Ashok attended a university and afterward worked at an administration run shipyard in the city. In the wake of procuring the necessary aptitudes in seaward upkeep and development, he began his own organization, DAS Offshore, which today utilizes 4,500 individuals and has a yearly turnover of Rs 500 crore.
